TRANSPARENCY / DATA AND TRUST

Privacy and data processing

Draft requiring legal review. Controller identity, address, contact channel, lawful processing grounds and retention periods must be finalized before commercial launch. This page describes current technical behavior.

What data is processed?

The waitlist stores your email address and consent record. The contact form stores your name, email and message. Authorized staff can view these records in the management dashboard. Saving a message does not mean an email has been delivered.

Application accounts process identity and profile data, location samples for verification, activity time, distance, discovery and territory records. Passwords are not stored in plain text. Security and audit logs protect the service.

Location and visibility

Location is used to verify activities and calculate discovery and territory. Live location sharing starts disabled. Location, background location, health data, notifications and marketing depend on separate permissions. Sensitive GPS points are not published in public rankings.

Cookies and external services

Administration and account sessions use security-related session cookies. Advertising and analytics tracking cookies are not enabled. Cookie preferences are stored in this browser. Transfer disclosures will be updated when map, store, email and notification providers are activated.

Retention and requests

The default cleanup policy retains raw GPS from completed activities for 30 days, contact and waitlist records for 365 days, notifications for 90 days and invitation chats for 30 days after the scheduled meetup. Activities under review are retained until resolved. Operators can configure retention; legal grounds must be reviewed before launch. You can download your data, delete your account or request access, correction and withdrawal of consent through the contact form. Identity is verified before changing another account.

Manage your account and data or use the contact form.
